The recent Healthcare ICT Technology Conference, organised by the Association of Finnish Local and Regional Authorities, gathered more than 1300 ICT stakeholders from different regions, cities, municipalities, enterprises and research organisations from Finland to collaborate, enhance and speed up the digital services availability and integration of the health and social care sector ICT. The Conference featured a READi for Health project stand to promote achievements of implementing the Joint Action Plan of the READi project and to showcase the achievements of the READi project regions.
“The public health care ICT stakeholders and different entrepreneurs were greatly interested in the READi for Health JAP materials that were available at the stand. Also the outcomes of the regional collaboration was considered a success story that should be highlighted in the other regions too”, says READi partner Kalevi Virta from Centre for Health and Technology.
The companies, Kide Clinical Systems, Medanets and Ikoni Innovations, who are also participating in the READi internationalisation activities from the Region of Oulu were also at the READi for Health stand. They were presenting their innovations and business for the public audience and were delighted to have the opportunity to participate in this national level ICT health care conference to speed up the market uptake. There were a lot of potential customers for them among the visitors.
