READi partner Centre for Health and Technology in Oulu belongs to the international consortium of pre commercial procurement project MAGIC to improve care and rehabilitation for patients who have suffered a stroke.
The MAGIC project, entitled as Mobile Assistance for Groups and Individuals in the Community, aims to discover innovative approaches to post-stroke care and will involve a number of industry suppliers competing through several phases of solution development and testing.
MAGIC has been awarded €3.6m in funding from the EU’s Horizon 2020 programme for European-wide PCP focused on the development of ICT based solutions that improve the well-being of our patients and optimise the opportunity for recovery post stroke. MAGIC is promoted by all READi partners for their regions as the MAGIC project opens possibilities for companies to participate into product development for stroke. The MAGIC can thereby provide a boost to our economy in the READi regions.
In order for the MAGIC project to get both EU and non-EU input they have created a Survey to maximise the projects Open Market Consultation.
