4th General Assembly Meeting, Oulu - Finland 16th September 2015

READi consortia partners met in Oulu, Finland, last 16th September, to advance with the implementation of the planning activities aimed to improve the implementation of eHealth strategies in their regions.

 

The consortium discussed the progress of different areas of interaction and how coworking can foster the introduction of tecnologies in their healthcare systems. Among this areas, special importance was given to: 

 

  • Developing effective and inclusive regional eHealth strategies
  • Launching eHealth innovation hubs to link research and technological innovation with what users need
  • Supporting advanced eHealth services for start ups and SMEs operating in the eHealth market
  • Ensuring interoperability -semantic and otherwise
  • Launching new initiatives that can discover how to use big data for better healthcare decision making
  • Supporting SMEs with digital healthcare technologies to access global healthcare markets
  • Facilitating public procurement of innovative eHealth technologies
  • Building eHealth capacity and understanding in each ecosystem
  • Communicating with all eHealth stakeholders
