Under the moto of M-health - Fact or future?, the Society of Health Informatics (SEIS) organised the XVIII National Congress (INFORS@LUD) on 16, 17 and 18 February 2015 in Madrid.
The main theme of the conference deals with mobility projects using mobile applications (apps), the impact for users of ehealth services provided through mobile technology, the effect of these changes on health professionals and safety issues and interoperability.
The Foundation for Health Research and Training (FFIS), READi for Health partner from Murcia (Spain), participated in this forum by exhibiting a Poster "Barriers to the implementation of ICT in chronicity: a Qualitative study with healthcare leaders" that presents the main findings from the qualitative research undertaken by the READi consortium in order to identify business needs and research gaps by consulting with eHealth stakeholders, including decision-makers, social innovators (bottom-up) and professionals, patients and the general public, on the design and implementation of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
