The READi partners met on Tuesday 10 June
in Oulu, Finland for their quarterly project meeting. Progress across each of the work packages was discussed, particularly regarding the survey, deep interviews and functional working groups.
The meeting coincided with the OuluHealth Ecosystem meeting, ‘Nightless Nights’ which was attended by over 180 international delegates. The READi partners took the opportunity to attend the event
and promote the work of READi for Health.
The Nightless Nights conference highlighted the ecosystem-like nature of healthcare, where various stakeholders such as biotechnology, pharmacology, medical technology, consumer products, health innovation, health technology, mobile and business services all participate to provide a wider understanding of the concept of Connected Health. High quality, easy access, citizen-centric services, broad use of novel technologies and affordable healthcare were key concepts during the conference.
